Granite home built in 1886 in the very rare Richardsonian Romanesque architecture. The Greenwich Historical Society states that it is the only example of this architecture in Greenwich because of the prohibitive cost of its construction. It has retained the period details such as nine fireplaces with hand made Victorian tiles, ornate plaster moldings, large stain glass windows, pocket doors etc. There also is an elevator and an in the wall safe behind panelling. Located in a most prestigious and desirable private enclave called Belle Haven. The Belle Haven security guard is stationed on the corner of our property.
